German Open 2010 become DCE Certified Show
Mar 31, 2010

The German Open will become a DCE Certified Show. The organisers of the event and Drum Corps Europe have come to an agreement on this. The event will be held in the Weserbergland Stadium in Hameln.

The event organisers (Starriders and 'Musikverband Schaumburg/Weser') strongly believe that, with the DCE judging team and the DCE Competition Manual, the future of the German Open is secured: "With the DCE system in place, we can offer corps that enter the DCN and DCE competitions in September the same judging experience in Hameln." The DCE Competition Manual is available for download on the website www.mvsw.de and corps can now register for the event. Not only corps from Germany but also from other European countries are welcome to compete in the German Open on Saturday, September 4th.

With the German Open 'on board', there are now 4 DCE Certified Partner organisations in Europe: the German Open, Drum Corps United Kingdom, the Irish Marching Bands Association and Drum Corps Netherlands.
