DCE section A sold out within 30 minutes
May 2, 2010

Drum Corps Europe had expected a run on tickets to the 2010 DCE European Championships, but even those expectations were exceeded. All 500 tickets for the centre section (section A) sold out within 30 minutes of the start of the tickets going on sale. The adjacent sections are filling up rapidly as well.

"We have never experienced anything like this," said DCE chairman Marcel Matthijsse. Among those buying tickets are not only the die-hard drum corps fans but also people from the Kerkrade region. "It's great to see that local people are pre-ordering tickets quicker and in bigger numbers than ever before," Matthijsse said.

Some corps have pre-ordered tickets for section A for their supporters, but most tickets have been purchased by individual fans who were quick to buy their ticket immediately. Tickets for section B are also selling fast. If you want to be sure to get a seat in section B it would be wise to order your tickets as soon as possible.
