Buccaneers leave competition behind again
Aug 24, 2010

The Buccaneers kept their lead in the Drum Corps Associates competition Saturday in Scranton. The Empire Statesmen, who are currently at number two, were almost two points behind.

All Open Class top corps were present in Scranton, with the exception of Minnesota Brass. They are currently the most likely candidates to take the Buccaneers' crown. At a contest in St. Peter, which was also held last Saturday, Minnesota Brass scored 92.138 points. That is still more than one point below the Buccaneers.

If the Buccaneers manage to stay in the lead, the corps from Reading will bring home their sixth consecutive title at the DCA Championships early September.
