Senators top DCUK contest Warrington

The Senators have topped the DCUK Warrington show, yesterday in Warrington. The corps scored 72.30. The Kidsgrove Scouts came in second with a score of 71.10.

The corps had to perform in the rain again, although not quite as bad as the show last week in Arklow - Ireland. The Senators took the captions Music Effect, Field Brass, Field Percussion, Field Visual and Ensemble Visual. The captions Visual Effect and Ensemble Music went to the Kidsgrove Scouts. Trinity received the highest score in the Color Guard caption.

Northern Star became third (66.80), followed by the Poynton Commodores (60.30), Trinity (59.65), Cheshire Cadets (54.90), 6th Hove (53.50), 37th Kingswood (51.40), Staffordshire Knights (50.35), Black Knights (47.45), Stafford Lancers (45.40) and Atherstone (39.10).

The Kidsgrove Scouts Juniors won the Junior Class, 6th Hove B ended in second place.
