DCE Championships again in Kerkrade

The DCE European Championships 2009 will again be held in the Parkstad Limburg Stadium in Kerkrade. The football club Roda JC and Drum Corps Europe have come to an agreement about the stadium. The DCE Championships will be held on Saturday, September 26th.

The responses by visitors and corps regarding the stadium were fantastic. The stadium management was very enthusiastic about the event and are very excited to host the DCE Championships again next year. The city of Kerkrade  is also keen to have the event back.

The DCE Championships 2009 will see 21 top corps from the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and Italy competing for the European title. The Open Class corps are 6th Hove Scouts (UK), Beatrix (NL), Besana (I), Black Knights (UK), Distant Thunder (UK), FB (NL), Heartliner (GER), Jubal (NL), Juliana (NL), Kidsgrove Scouts (UK), Millennium (IT), Northern Star (UK), Poynton Commodores (UK), Senators (UK), Starriders (GER), Trinity (UK) van de partij. The Cadet Class corps are Confetti (NL), Johan Friso (NL), Jong Avalance (NL), Jong Beatrix (NL) en Jong Jubal (NL).

Ticket sales will start on May 1st.
