37th Kingswood win cheque of 50,000 pounds

37th Kingswood's Scout Hut Development project was awarded a cheque for £50,000 from The Peoples Millions live on ITV News West. The money will see the replacement of an old, out of date and increasingly unsafe hall that makes up part of the group's premises.
The new hall will enable the group to offer a wider range of social, recreational and sporting activities for young people and their families. It will also give the group an opportunity to build on their current success in involving the local community in their activities, with volunteers taking part being a key part of the project.
37th Kingswood would like to thank everyone who voted for the project on Wednesday night and say a big well done to Steve Brown and the team for all the hard work that has gone in to making this dream come true.
