A mile-stone for the organisation and members of the Beatrix 2009 winterguard. Beatrix' Corps Association has decided that their winterguard will take part in the Winter Guard International 2009 Championships which will be held in Dayton - Ohio, USA.

After the succesful DCI tours in 1979, as the Beatrix Band, and in 1988, 1991, 2000, 2004 and 2008 as Beatrix Drum & Bugle Corps, the group will again cross the ocean. It is the first time however that their winter guard  unit will travel to the USA.

Beatrix’ Winterguard will be on tour from from 30th March until 7th April 2009. The first two days the group will have rehearsals, before entering the Championships from 2nd to 4th April.
