DCE Webcast: 2300 unique viewers
30 Sep 2008

The webcast of the DCE European Championships last Saturday was a big success. More than 2300 drum corps fans watched the Drum Corps Europe webcast.

Due to some connection problems the stream had some problems, mainly in the afternoon. In the evening the connection became better, and more fans tuned in. The highest total of unique viewers on one moment was 624. The majority of the viewers were from the United States. The DCE webcast was announced on Drum Corps Planet and the website of Drum Corps International.

"Although we realise the audio and video stream had limited quality, we received very positive feedback on the initiative", Marco Janssen of Drum Corps Europe said. "American viewers said it was great to have the opportunity to see performances by European corps."
