Drum Corps Europe is proud to present the new logo for the DCE Championships in Kerkrade. The logo has been designed by graphic artist Peter Franken.

The logo has a new style, compared to previous years. Elements of the city Rotterdam were part of the logo design in 2005 (the towers of the 'Castle' stadium), 2006 (the Erasmus bridge) and 2007 (the cube houses).

"It was time to change the design drastically", Peter Franken said. "The new logo has a more universal look, including the European element with the stars and yardlines."

Drum Corps Europe is happy with the new design. The logo is used for the champions flags and the patches. The patches will be available in the DCE help desk during the DCE Championships.
