Avant Courir no longer in CGN Open Class
30 Aug 2008

Avant Courir will no longer take part next year in the open Class of CGN. The decision made by staff has been taken because the group has a shortage of members.

"The decision to leave the open class has caused great pain in the heart", says the staff from Avant Courir. A lot of members announced that they would no longer be able to take part in the group. Because of this, staff and governing board members discussed and decided that Avant Courir will no longer take part as a group in the open class in the CGN competition.

Previously in the year 2000 they withdrew themselves from the open class and then in 2003, management tried the group again, but had a year later again withdraw itself. Now, five years later, the group has had take the same decision. After a successful season, they staff hoped they would once again be able to compete in CGN, but this unfortunate situation stated otherwise.
