Trinity aim for world success

Trinity School Showband aim to be the first band from Great Britain to qualify for the WAMSB World Championships in 2009 to be held in Kerkrade. Trinity will travel to Monza in Italy 7th – 14th July 2008 to participate in the Monza International Championships along side bands such as Millennium and Jubal. By scoring an 85 in Monza Trinity would qualify for Kerkrade 2009.
 
38 Bands from around the world have already qualified for Kerkrade 2009 including Calgary Stampede and Stetsons, Jubal, Juliana, Millennium as well as bands from the USA, Thailand, Germany, Denmark, Columbia, Malaysia and Uruguay.
 
Joint Band Director Adam Dudley said "We have competed in the WAMSB Championships in the past including visits to Germany, Italy and most recently in the UK and are hoping our recent development and success will put us in good stead for a successful trip. We are really looking forward to competing against some of the best bands in the world. It is also an honour to be representing BYBA and the UK."
