Premier to partner Kidsgrove Scouts
2 Feb 2008

UK based percussion manufacturer Premier Music International is proud to announce that the coming seasons will see reigning DCUK champions Kidsgrove Scouts perform exclusively using Premier's new Revolution Series marching drums and Field Series frontline instruments.

The origins of the Kidsgrove Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps dates back to the early years of scouting between 1908 and 1910 and on the 16th October 2007 the corps was crowned DCUK British Champions, a title that had been chased for many years. A highly emotional night saw the corps awarded top honors; taking home High Guard, High Visual and High General Effect.

“The Revolution Series drums set a new bench mark in sound and build quality and will surely consolidate Premier’s position as the leading designer and manufacturer of marching drums” comments corps coordinator Rob Swindells, “we are honored and excited to partner with Premier for the foreseeable future.”

Kidsgrove Scouts will now compete using Premier's brand new Revolution Series snares, bass drums and multi-toms finished in Ebony Black Lacquer and Blasted Chrome, and will complete the line up with Premier’s popular oak frame Field Series orchestral keyboards.

"It's a pleasure to associate with one of Europe's leading corps" says Premier's Marching Specialist Sven Parris; "Kidsgrove is a fine organization and the partnership works on many levels. Premier has been designing and manufacturing marching instruments for over 85 years and we know that a strong history and commitment to excellence and innovation are facets shared by both organisations."
