Significant setback regarding production of DVDs

Delivery of the DVDs and CDs of the DCE Championships 2007 is suffering from an, as yet, unknown delay. Unfortunately, DCE is facing significant setbacks in the production process.
The video editing was completed in December, but there has been a serious delay with the sound files. Due to the continuous health problems of the staff member responsible for the audio production, DCE is unable to finish the DVDs and CDs.
"First of all, this is not at all pleasant for the staff member concerned", says DCE Office Manager Marco Janssen. "But this is also very disappointing for all those drum corps fans looking forward to our annual DVD and CD recording."
For the time being, there is no solution to this problem. "Unfortunately, we do not have any other options available to us for adding good quality sound files", continues Janssen. "We hope that the staff member will soon be feeling better and be able to resume the work."
DCE has also decided not to place the Prelims shows on the DVD. A single camera recording was used in the morning, but the result does not meet our quality requirements. The clubs concerned will be receiving a free DVD. Customers who have already ordered the Prelims DVD in the pre-sale will also receive a copy free of charge. DCE will be contacting these customers.
Drum Corps Europe regrets the problems and hopes to be able to complete production of the DVDs and CDs shortly.
