Italy opens championship to foreign corps
2 Feb 2007

For the first time, corps from outside Italy will be welcome at the Italian show championship. The Italian organisation 'Italia Marching Show Bands' hopes this will attract more corps that will provide additional extravaganza during the championship.

Every year, a total of around 800 musicians take part in this championship for show bands and marching bands. This year, the championship will take place on 30th June and 1st July in the Carlo Speroni stadium in Busto Arsizio. In addition to the show competition, there will also be parade contests during the weekend.

Corps from all over the world are allowed to take part in the fourth edition of the championship, which is a qualification round for the WAMSB Championships in 2009 and 2010. If you are interested, further information on taking part can be found at www.imsb.it. This information is in English. Registration can take place until 31st March.
