It has taken a week longer than scheduled, but delivery of the DVDs and CDs of the DCE European Championships 2006 will begin next week. The final details of the production are now being completed.

Producing the DVDs and CDs is a major task requiring a couple of months; a few DCE employees donate many hours of their free time for this purpose. Some of them have given up part of their Christmas holiday to prepare the discs for posting.

Just like last year, the DVDs will come with surround sound and will contain the option of viewing the shows via the top camera only. Also included in the DVDs for the first time are the Prelims shows which did not make the finals in the evening (single camera recording).

Once again, this year's artwork has been designed by Peter Franken, who has created the menus as well as the cover and label designs.
