Rehearsal fields available in Rotterdam
31 Aug 2006

Corps that will be participating at the DCE European Championships, will be offered free warm up and rehearsal facilities. There are public rehearsal fields available at the Roel Langerakpark, at a few minutes walking distance of the Sparta Stadium.

Drum Corps Europe has been given permission by the city of Rotterdam to use the fields. Last year, the Vroesepark was available for rehearsals, but that park is situated much further away from the stadium. The Roel Langerakpark offers enough space for several rehearsals at the same time.

"We are happy that the Roel Langerakpark is available for our corps", DCE chairman Marcel Matthijsse said. "This park reminds us of the great Zuiderpark in The Hague, which we used in 2003 and 2004. The Roel Langerakpark just offers the rehearsal space we need on our Championships day."

The park is situated at 7 minutes walking distance from the Sparta Stadium.
