Drum Corps France, the organisation for drum corps and marching bands in France, has announced its first Individuals and Ensembles competition, to be held on Sunday 8th october 2006 in Beauvais (80 kilometers north-west of Paris.)

The juding panel will be composed of judges from France, the Netherlands and Belgium. The contest is not only open to French participants, but also to all other European musician and color guard performers.

DCF is expecting candidates from the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. For three years, several French members of drum corps and show bands took part in the Individuals & Ensembles contest of Color Guard Netherlands. As the French are welcome to the Dutch competition, France would be honoured to welcome any candidates from other European countries.
