Drum Corps Europe is to add mobile communications to the 2006 European Drum Corps Championships. This year, a new service is being added through which the audience and participants will receive real-time scores through their mobile phones.

Commenting on the launch of the service, Marco Janssen of Drum Corps Europe said, "We're very happy that we are now able to offer this service. The DCE European Championships 2006 will be held on Saturday, September 23rd, in The Netherlands' Sparta Rotterdam Stadium. The complete SMS package only costs EUR 1.95 and can be ordered from the webshop from 28th August. All networks in Great Britain, The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy and Sweden will be supported.
