DCUK will discuss incorporation of open age corps
2 Aug 2006

The DCUK Board of Trustees has agreed to facilitate a proposal from the Corps Directors who were present at the meeting regarding the framework for the summer season in 2007. The Corps Directors & Trustees will be discussing three broad areas.

The discussion topics are that DCUK should incorporate open age corps in some format, that DCUK should incorporate open instrumentation in some format, and that the 2007 season will incorporate both competitive and educational 'clinic' events.

A designated forum has been set up for Corps Directors and Trustees to discuss these aspects so that formal proposals can be presented to the Annual General Meeting on October 22nd. (Text: dcuk.org.uk)
